The Club's purpose, "To increase personal knowledge of botany and to bring more gardens to Tulsa." Soon, lectures on botanical and related subjects were being presented. The first flower show was April 30, 1930, at Hilltop House, the country estate of the Club's first president, Mrs. Maud R. Mason.

VISION to engage the community through gardening education.
MISSION to embrace civic and environmental responsibilities by providing education, resources, and networking to promote the love of gardening.
The Club has evolved from a garden study group to an active civic organization. Continuing to fulfill National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC) objectives, members have served in leadership roles in our own community and throughout NGC. In addition to ongoing funding of Tulsa Garden Center and Tulsa Rose Garden, the Club continues to advance gardening education, offer educational programming, resources and networking by helping organize other clubs, stage flower shows, present the community's longest-running educational garden tour, by fostering environmental concerns and conservation.
Everyone can grow in our garden!
