The community's longest-running educational garden tour returns, Saturday, May 1, 2021! Since 1929, Club members have opened their own gardens and arranged public tours to help visitors learn more about ornamental, vegetable and herb gardening, natural and functional hardscape, water management, and lighting. The Tour offers the public's greatest opportunity to enjoy Tulsa's private residential gardens in full spring splendor. Behind-the-scenes or sneak previews of public gardens have been featured.
Tour tickets allow entry to all four gardens and offer brief descriptions of each, along with Patron recognition. $10 Advance tickets are available via Eventbrite through 3 pm, Friday, April 30. $15 Tour Day tickets may be purchased at the first featured garden visited on Saturday, May 1. The Tour is self guided for visitors to move garden-to-garden as preferred.
Presented by generous garden/homeowners ("Gardening Gems"), Club members and Patrons, the Tour fulfills National Garden Clubs, Inc. objectives to educate the public and advance the art of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and environmental sciences.
Every effort will be made to comply with local ordinances and Tulsa County Health Department recommendations to ensure a healthy and safe experience. At this point, as visitors approach, enter, enjoy, and depart each garden, please plan to observe the 3Ws: Wear mask, Watch distance, Wash hands.
Proceeds benefit Tulsa Garden Club projects, including Tulsa Garden Center.
Garden/homeowners and their teams work for months (sometimes years!) to prepare their green spaces--of all sizes!--for Tulsa Garden Club's Tour. These Gardening Gems are recognized during the pre-Tour reception.
Featured gardens, this year, are all located mid-town Tulsa:
