The Rose Fund
The story of Tulsa’s cherished gardens begins with the Tulsa Garden Club, founded in 1929. Our Members’ passion for beauty helped establish the region’s historic and award-winning rose garden in the first half of the 20th century with its first roses and led development of Tulsa Garden Center at Woodward Park.

Generations of visitors still enjoy Tulsa Rose Garden's serenity and beauty. Rose rosette disease required removing nearly all roses. Now, landscape professionals and academic institutions help guide Tulsa Rose Garden's return to its original botanical garden design. These industry experts join Tulsa Garden Club Members, other volunteers, and donors committed to learning, planting and maintaining this diverse green space in Woodward Park, one of the finest public gardens established in the first half of the twentieth century.
From the beginning of the Rose Garden, Tulsa Garden Club Members have provided our own roses and, with donations from donors like you for decades, Tulsa Garden Club Rose Fund has purchased new and replacement plants and continues to fund ongoing maintenance and, now, restoration.
Charitable gifts to Tulsa Garden Club and the Rose Fund are deductible to the extent allowed by law as no goods or services are exchanged.
